As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, established in 1981, the mission of Ronald McDonald House Charities of Arkansas & North Louisiana (RMHC AR & NLA) is to provide essential services that remove barriers, strengthen families, and promote healing when children need healthcare. We accomplish this through the Ronald McDonald House, Ronald McDonald Family Room, and the Ronald McDonald Care Mobile. All services are free to families thanks to generous donors.

POSITION DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a dynamic, relationship-centered fundraising leader who brings energy, strategic insight, and a deep passion for our mission. As a key member of the Senior Leadership Team, they will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing bold fundraising initiatives—including major gifts, capital campaigns, annual giving, and planned giving—while ensuring the region’s annual funding goals are met. They will collaborate closely with the Chief Philanthropy Officer (CPO) on all fundraising activities and with the Chief Operating Officer (COO) on budgeting and program operations.
Our ideal candidate excels at building authentic relationships with donors, corporate partners, foundations, and community leaders. They will help cultivate a strong organizational culture and inspire, mentor, and empower their team. Accountable to the CEO, this leader will serve as a passionate ambassador for our mission, guiding thoughtful stewardship efforts and driving mission-aligned, forward-thinking fundraising strategies.
Volunteer Manager

POSITION DESCRIPTION
The Volunteer Manager is responsible for recruiting, training, managing and supporting volunteers who assist with various Little Rock programs, including the Ronald McDonald House, Ronald McDonald Family Room at UAMS, and other initiatives. They ensure volunteers have meaningful experiences, feel highly valued, and that their skill set is effectively matched with the needs of the organization.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Enjoy interacting with and confidently speaking to audiences about the RMHC AR & NLA mission. Clearly communicating our brand, programs and volunteer opportunities is key.
- Identify and attract new volunteers through various channels, including community outreach, online platforms and partnerships.
- Conduct interviews, background checks, etc. to ensure suitability for volunteer roles. Match volunteers with appropriate roles based on their skills and interests.
- Provide comprehensive training on RMHC AR & NLA’s mission, values, policies and procedures, as well as specific role-related tasks.
- Create and manage volunteers’ schedules, ensuring adequate coverage for various programs and events.
- Implement volunteer appreciation programs to acknowledge their contributions.
- Survey volunteers regularly to determine satisfaction, gain insight into the experience and opportunities to create new initiatives.
- Work closely with the Development Manager to provide sufficient numbers of volunteers to assist with the planning and execution of RMHC AR & NLA events, including managing volunteer staffing and coordinating at events.
- Work with Little Rock Program Managers, continually evaluating needs for volunteer support across programs and initiatives.
- Represent RMHC AR & NLA at community events.
- May rarely be asked to travel to our other program sites for events or presentations
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Enthusiasm for our brand and mission.
- Occasional after hours and weekend availability is required based on program activities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Ability to clearly communicate the needs of the organization internally and externally.
- Understand the impact of volunteers in the various programs
- Excellent written and public speaking skills.
- Proficient in social media, analytics and maximizing engagement
- Willingness and ability to adjust to changing work conditions and priorities.
- Highly organized with effective time management skills.
- Proficient in WordPress, Canva, Adobe, Microsoft Office

Strategic Partnerships Associate

Ronald McDonald Family Room in St. Francis Medical Center is seeking a Strategic Partnerships Associate to steward and grow our donor base and volunteers who transform the experience for every family who will stay at the Family Room. We are seeking a candidate who is a seasoned fundraising professional who is passionate about connecting the community with our mission and the families we serve.
Position: Strategic Partnerships Associate, Northeast Louisiana
Classification: Full time (non-exempt)

POSITION DESCRIPTION
The Strategic Partnerships Associate is responsible for assisting the Mission Director in raising annual operating support for this program. This position will also be responsible for increasing awareness, recruiting volunteers, and seeking in-kind donors. The ideal candidate will be outgoing, enjoy engaging with individuals and groups, and confidently speak to audiences about our mission and purpose. They will have primary oversight of signature events, advocate for the organization’s mission, and encourage support from the community. They will identify new stakeholders, coordinate, manage, and support event-focused volunteers. They will capture creative content for social media, while assisting with other efforts to further visibility in the region. They are accountable to the Chief Executive Officer for stewardship of the mission statement.
ESSENTIAL
- Represent the organization at speaking opportunities and community events throughout Northeast Louisiana to increase awareness of the organization’s programs.
- Recruit and host volunteers and groups.
- Ensure volunteers have a meaningful experience, including execution of a gratitude plan.
- Execute annual signature event and third-party events.
- Steward existing donors; identify and recruit new donors.
- Capture social media content for the Communications Director.
- Ensure consistent design of promotional materials to support regional program, event and volunteer needs, adhering to branding standards and templates.
- Occasionally, travel to other program sites in Arkansas for events, education, and/or presentations.
- Perform other related duties and projects as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS

While serving families with the highest level of customer service and integrity, these positions are responsible for general operational duties, light housekeeping, inventory of supplies, and ensuring all policies, procedures, and guidelines of the Ronald McDonald House and Family Room® are adhered to by all guests. The Guest Services Manager at each location will be responsible for keeping up with daily records and logs of all guests and reporting any problems to the Program Manager or hospital security if necessary. This position will perform additional administrative tasks as assigned by the Program Manager.
Shifts are determined by the Program Manager, with day, night, and weekend shifts required. The RMH is staffed 24 hours a day with overnight shifts available, 365 days per year, 7 days a week. The RMFR is staffed 8am-9pm, 365 days per year, 7 days a week.
